
Ned Brown, who at that time was working for another exhibit house that abruptly closed leaving many clients without a home for their exhibit property and services, founded Exhibit Concepts in 1978. Ned and his then-partner Dale Paugh were able to successfully help these clients and continue to grow their client base. At that time, Exhibit Concepts was only in a 5,000 sq. ft. facility but quickly moved into a 20,000 sq. ft. building in 1981 in Dayton, Ohio.
- In 1983, fabrication of museum display & exhibits was added to Exhibit Concepts’ service offerings.
- By 1986, the company was growing so quickly that another 47,000 square feet was added to the building.
- In 1989, Ned bought out Dale and put many efforts into expanding the sales team and starting a national marketing campaign.
- In 1993, Exhibit Concepts bought land in Vandalia, Ohio, and broke ground for a new 100,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art design and production facility.
- In 1998, an 80,000 sq. ft. warehouse was added to the building.
- In 2000, Kelli Glasser, Ned’s daughter, became the president of the company after working seven years in various sales and management positions.
