Medal of Honor Museum - Museum

The Medal of Honor Museum is located on the hangar deck of the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point. The concept for the museum’s new design seeks to explore and communicate the values that are embodied in the medals. The museum is designed to be an experience that is thought provoking, educational, and memorable.
The highly interactive exhibits include touch screen computer kiosks, front projected media presentations, and a walk-though tunnel that simulates the sights and sounds of battles throughout American history. The museum also showcases artifacts and large sculpted reproductions of the three Medals of Honor.
